What intensifies the challenge is operation within the room — an environment that often imposes limitations making each step more sensitive and less predictable. Limited space, controlled airflow, restricted routes, and constant movement needs create a practical challenge: equipment may have the right capacity but be unviable in the environment where it needs to function. That was the core of the demand. The 100 kW banks met the electrical need but didn’t integrate efficiently with the client’s operational routine.

The stated need was to adjust the equipment so the test would run more smoothly, with less logistical effort and greater compatibility with the room’s physical space. The problem wasn’t the load itself, but the bank’s physical structure, something that could compromise time, team flow, and operational continuity.

At 3BW, we treat this type of situation as a natural part of our work. When the environment imposes restrictions, we adjust equipment to eliminate obstacles without altering technical performance. The proposed solution was to develop an adapted version of the 100 kW bank with structural modifications facilitating operation, movement, and use in more restrictive environments. The prototype was presented quickly and technically validated by the client, proving the adaptation solved exactly the sensitive point of the test process.

Most importantly, technical viability was proven — our adjustment simplified the commissioning team’s work and reduced barriers hindering execution.

This case illustrates a recurring pattern in our daily work. Many equipment models now part of our portfolio emerged from the same logic: addressing specific operational needs. The 40 kW and 240 kW models, the RMLs (rack mounted loads) of 5 and 8.75 kW were born and developed from demands of our clients, the largest Data Center service providers in Latin America. And when operation requires a different solution, we adapt whatever is necessary so the test happens the right way, within the reality of the environment.

["post-613","case","type-case","status-publish","has-post-thumbnail","hentry
["GET
